Rookie Camp is the name attached to the three-day period which precedes full Band Camp each summer. During Rookie Camp, newcomers to the Clinton High School Marching Band (mostly rising sophomores) learn the basics of marching and are introduced to the music the band will perform during the marching program. Attending Rookie Camp prepares the new students to take their places as productive members of the Clinton Arrow Band. |

In the hazey heat of late July and early August when summer is waning and thoughts turn to football Friday nights, Clinton High's Marching Band take to the practice field putting feet to music they began to learn back in the spring. Band Camp is a jump start to the Marching Season where members find their places in the fall show. It is usually very hot, very tiring but very productive as the members concentrate their efforts to put an award-winning show on the field. |

Honoring senior members of the Clinton High School Marching Band is the purpose of Senior Night festivities, which take place on the field at the final home football game of the season each year. As each seniors name is called, the student marches to the sideline and receives a rose and a gift from the Band Boosters. The pride felt by the seniors and their parents is palpable as the students are recognized for their contributions to the Clinton Arrow Band. The special night concludes a day which traditionally begins with a recognition of senior band members at the high school pep rally. |

A Saturday night in early May is the traditional time for the Clinton Arrow Band Banquet. This annual event marks the culmination of a very successful band year, giving the Band Directors an opportunity to present individual awards to deserving band students. Following a special meal in an elaborately-decorated banquet hall, band members are recognized for their accomplishments, receiving awards in areas such as citizenship, musicianship, and spirit. Awards are also presented to those deemed most valuable and most improved. Following a recognition of all of the bands senior members, three scholarships are presented to graduating seniors. |
